Every year my children and I receive a birthday greeting card from our insurance company inviting us to come by and pick up a gift. I keep the card with me until we make a special stop by their office to select a book or toy, maybe a magnet, pen, or map. Now that is effective marketing!
Consistent and creative contact with your customers keeps you on their mind. When you send a birthday card, in addition to holiday card and anniversary cards, you become an expected and welcome contact to your customers. Your business product or service is always within reach.
Whether you sell to B-to-B customers or consumers, sending a birthday card is always appropriate and always appreciated because it's personal. Increased customer loyalty through greeting cards results in repeat business!
